🌫️ Multan Administration Intensifies Anti-Smog Drive | DC Waseem Hamid Sandhu Issues Stern Orders

The Multan district administration has stepped up its efforts to combat smog and pollution in the city. Deputy Commissioner Waseem Hamid Sandhu has directed all departments to take immediate and concrete actions to control rising pollution levels. The DC ordered intensified water sprinkling, strict action against those keeping construction materials uncovered, and penalties for smoke-emitting vehicles and VEDA buses. He also instructed authorities to ban open trolleys carrying dust and sand and prohibit the burning of garbage and crop residues. DC Sandhu emphasized that public cooperation is crucial to keep the City of Saints’ pollution index within safe limits.
