Mailsi Police Encounter: Drug Dealer Injured by Accomplice Fire, Arrested with Hashish & Pistol

A reported police encounter took place in the jurisdiction of Karam Pur Police Station, Mailsi. According to police, a record-holder drug dealer was injured by his own accomplice’s firing during the encounter. The injured suspect, identified as Yaqoob son of Ramzan, a resident of Hari Chand, was arrested in wounded condition. Police recovered 1500 grams of hashish and a pistol from his possession and registered a case. SHO Karam Pur Zaman shifted the injured suspect to hospital for medical treatment. Police say further investigation is underway and raids are being conducted to arrest other suspects.
