Punjab Bar Council Elections 2025 | Vehari Lawyers Cast Votes | Tough Contest Among 8 Candidates

Polling for two seats of the Punjab Bar Council is underway in District Vehari, with a strong turnout of lawyers casting their votes. A total of 2,712 voters from three tehsil bars — Vehari (1129), Burewala (925), and Mailsi (658) — are registered to vote. Eight candidates, including Rao Shiraz Raza, Rai Amir Aslam, Zahid Khan Khichi, Salman Yousaf Ghumman, Ch. Ashraf Dhallon, Mehr Nasir Wasli, Khalid Farooq, and Shafqat Ali, are contesting for the two seats. Additional Session Judges Tariq Shad and Qamar Abbas are serving as Returning Officers. The polling process will continue uninterrupted until 5:30 PM in a peaceful environment.
