Punjab Food Authority Raids Papad Factory | 250 KG Unsafe Food Seized | 2 Lakh Fine Imposed

Punjab Food Authority conducted a major raid under the supervision of Director Operations South, Zubair Ahmed Ijaz, at a papad factory near Bahawalpur Road. Over 250 kilograms of unsafe food were destroyed, and the factory was fined Rs. 200,000. During the inspection, dead insects were found in the sugar syrup, and unhygienic production conditions were observed. DG Food Authority Muhammad Asim Javed stated that strict action will continue against those endangering children’s health.
